BenefitsPRO is once again shining a spotlight on the top benefits advisors in the industry with the 2026 Advisor of the Year awards. 
The ideal finalist stands out from the crowd, provides extraordinary client service, helps shape the industry and strives to fix our broken health care system. They utilize their unique perspective and innovative insight every day as they work to move the benefits industry forward, enrich their local communities, and help employers find high-quality heath care and benefits, while controlling costs. 

BenefitsPRO will honor and interview the five Advisor of the Year finalists on stage at the annual Broker Expo in Chicago, IL, which takes place on April 28-30, 2026. Each finalist will also be profiled on BenefitsPRO.com in early April and they will receive additional recognition on BenefitsPRO's social channels and email newsletters. The chosen 2026 Advisor of the Year will be announced live on stage at the Broker Expo and will receive additional coverage in May.

The nomination deadline is January 12, 2026.

What You Need to Know

  • Please note, this recognition was previously known as the Broker of the Year award, prior to being rebranded in recent years.
  • There is no limit to the number of candidates that a submitter can nominate.
  • Please limit to a maximum of three nominations per candidate. The number of submissions will in no way affect a nominee’s chances of being selected.
  • For preparation purposes, the complete nomination form is available for download here. Please note, all final entries must be submitted via the nomination portal (e-mail and fax are not acceptable). Late entries will not be considered. 
  • The five Advisor of the Year finalists will be notified of their selection via email by late February. Due to the high volume of nominations that we receive, only those selected will be notified.
