Susan Rider serves as the National President of NABIP (National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals), where she leads the board’s strategic direction to advance the association’s mission. She champions innovation, compliance, and leadership development across the health benefits industry, ensuring NABIP’s advocacy efforts both protect the vital role of insurance agencies and promote health policies that safeguard the consumers they serve. As a recognized voice in public policy and workforce strategy, Susan also serves on the Government Affairs Committee for NAPEO (National Association of Professional Employer Organizations), advocating for small and mid-sized employers navigating complex regulatory landscapes.

Susan is a Senior Human Resource Consultant at Human Capital Concepts, a OneDigital company, where she advises businesses on the full lifecycle of the employee experience, ensuring HR practices align with compliance, performance, and organizational strategy.

In addition to her industry leadership, Susan is an adjunct faculty member at Purdue University, teaching Organizational Leadership and mentoring the next generation of professionals in human resources, leveraging strategic thinking and ethical decision-making. She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership & Design and is currently a second-year law student at Purdue Global, focusing on business law.

Within NABIP, Susan has played a pivotal role in shaping professional development initiatives as both a course designer and certified instructor, helping brokers, HR leaders, and compliance professionals navigate today’s benefits challenges.
