Throughout her 20-year career as a local government, nonprofit, and for-profit HR and health benefits professional, Michele has strived to support the disenfranchised by advancing education and equity in healthcare. After majoring in a pre-med program in Molecular Biology at Hampton University, Michele joined the Fund for the City of New York, a nonprofit, and became a CDC Community Ambassador, working with the Let’s Stop HIV Together network in New York City to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS among adolescents. Michele began her human resources career in Washington, D.C., where she soon became Senior Director of Human Resources at Unity Health Care, Inc. (“Unity”), a nonprofit healthcare provider organization servicing underprivileged community members, regardless of their ability to pay. Today, Michele serves as Senior Director of Content and Branding at Nonstop Administration & Insurance Services (“Nonstop”) at Nonstop Administration & Insurance Services (“Nonstop”). Michele leads a brand marketing, broker partnership, and employer advisory team, helping brokers and employers look beyond the status quo in health benefits to realize better employee and organizational outcomes and support greater equity and inclusivity in the access, education, and delivery of quality care.
