departments in implementing new initiatives.
With a medical career spanning more than three decades, the fellowship-trained, board-certified neurologist with clinical training at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Kansas Medical Center has significant urgent care clinical experience. A technology, publishing and education entrepreneur, Dr. Lorenzo founded an urgent care staffing company, holding the position of CEO/president, prior to joining MeMD. As a highly sought-after healthcare expert, he also established a healthcare clinical, legal, publishing and
technology consulting firm, where he still serves as CEO. Additionally, his passion for healthcare publishing led him to become deeply involved in the industry, where he has held countless senior executive positions, including co-founder, CEO, president, chief operating officer and chief publishing officer of Boston Medical Publishing (acquired by McGraw-Hill in 2005), eMedicine (acquired by WebMD in 2006) and Pearlsreview (acquired by Gannett in 2008).
