Crystal Lewis began her Benefits Consulting career with Colonial Life in 2012 as an enroller on their national enrollment team. In 2017 she transitioned to the broker side where she grew to become the Supplemental Health practice leader. She was able to build a practice with her colleague that took consistent revenue of 500k and grew it to 2.5 Million in 4 years. She has now moved back to the carrier side where she is the Supplemental Health Regional Practice Leader for Guardian Life on the West overseeing the Supplemental Health sales in 8 states. She is experienced in leveraging collaborative consultative strategies that build relationships with broker-partners and enrollment firm partners providing extensive knowledge and advice on selecting and administrating benefits. She facilitates renewal negotiations, analysis, marketing, and implementation of Supplemental Health in all market segments. She maintains and builds carrier relationships across her target markets to focus on strategy for sustainable revenue growth, benchmark services and processes. This has prepared her to have a comprehensive knowledge of the industry, equipping her with the skill set to strategize with internal teams, sales teams, and brokers to bring clients a strategic portfolio of products to suit their needs.

Crystal was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, but has called Sacramento CA home for the past 25 years. When She is not working, She loves to spend time doing activities with her fur babies Brodie and Baila, boating on the river, trying new recipes for family and friends, play sports and travel as much as possible. She hasn’t always been in the Insurance industry; she started her career as a foreign language teacher. She taught English to mandarin speaking students which eventually got her invited to Beijing China to teach as a foreign language instructor. She developed lifelong friends and invaluable skills that she has kept with her as she transitioned her career to insurance.
