Leah Joyner, CEBS is a seasoned HR and benefits leader with over 20 years of experience spanning actuarial science, benefits strategy, and HR technology. She is the Founder of HCM Tech Advisory, where she helps HR and benefits leaders make smart, practical decisions about systems, strategy, and execution, without vendor bias.

Leah began her career at Deloitte Consulting as an Actuarial Analyst, specializing in employee benefits design, financial forecasting, and cost modeling. She later moved into HR technology at Lifeworks (TELUS Health), where she led large-scale HR system implementations for complex organizations.

As Director of HRIS at Revature, Leah led the global implementation of Workday, while also overseeing U.S. health and welfare benefits and the company’s wellness strategy. Prior to launching HCM Tech Advisory, she played a key role at OneDigital, improving client experience, tightening implementation timelines, and strengthening benefits administration operations.

Leah holds a BBA in Actuarial Science and is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS). Known for her direct, honest approach, she is deeply committed to helping HR leaders cut through complexity, avoid costly missteps, and build benefits and HR technology programs that actually work.
