Teri Weber, MBA, PMP, GBA, ICCIE is a Senior Vice President within Alera Group’s Employee Benefit Practice focused on National Accounts, Northeast. She has over 20 years of experience in health and welfare plan strategy, design, pricing, and implementation. In addition, she is also an industry leader in absence management, consulting with employers on disability, family medical leave, accommodations, and leave of absence tracking and best practices. Her work in the absence management space includes ensuring compliance and advising on state paid family and medical leave (PFML) programs. Through a health and welfare lens, Teri focuses on five core pillars to customize programs for clients: plan design, process, technology, funding, and benchmarks. Her areas of expertise have allowed her to work with diverse employers and vendors to streamline processes and programs to meet the needs of insurers, administrators, employers and employees. At Alera Group, Teri drives strategic planning and innovative tactics across the full spectrum of health and welfare. Prior to joining Spring, Teri worked with Watson Wyatt, Buck Consultants and AON Consulting. Teri earned a BS at the University of Connecticut and an MBA at the University of Massachusetts. She is a licensed broker, ACI (Associate in Captive Insurance) and PMP certified (Project Management Professional). Teri has won numerous accolades including Risk & Insurance Power Broker and BenefitPro’s Broker of the Year finalist recognition as well as sits on Executive Board for the DMEC and Board of Director emeritus status with NEEBC.
