Sarah Howlett brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare and hospital administration, having worked with large hospital systems. She earned her undergraduate degree in England through The University of Maryland, followed by an MBA. Throughout her career, Sarah played a pivotal role in developing narrow network plan designs, employer clinic models focused on population health, and strategies to drive in-network utilization growth across all clinical service lines.

Her perspective shifted dramatically after becoming a licensed life/health consultant, where she worked directly with external brokers and patients. This experience led her to realize that her previous work in hospital system development was inadvertently driving up patient costs and impacting plan affordability. Recognizing the significant role pharmacy plays in healthcare costs, Sarah transitioned to her current role as Vice President of Business Development at TrueRx Health Strategists.

In this role, Sarah is committed to leveraging her extensive healthcare knowledge to create tailored solutions for employers, integrating pharmacy strategies with other critical elements of the self-funded space to optimize outcomes and reduce costs.
