Patrick Long is the founder and president of Hero Health, the best platform for managing a Proactive PPO™. He believes that employers deserve the 3 Cs: Better Care, Lower Cost, and More Control.

The only way to achieve these goals is to have a platform that contains quality scores for physicians and facilities, direct contracts at much lower prices, incentives that reward smart decisions, reporting that is both understandable and
actionable, and a nice nurse and friendly pharmacist engaging with members.

Long serves on national advisory boards of Validation Institute and Open Networks. He is a Health Rosetta Plan Architect who assists brokers with improved health plan design. He enjoys evaluating point solutions, networks, data analytics, and contracts more than anyone should.

Patrick also works closely with captive insurance regulators on education and training programs for professionals and employers alike. In this capacity, he has presented to leading finance, law, accounting, and insurance firms nationwide. In his spare time, Long teaches Entrepreneurship at the UNC.

He graduated from UNC and lives in Chapel Hill with his wonderful wife and two children.
