Speaker Bio
Kristine Scheer is an accomplished employee benefits advisor achieving excellence for employers for 30 years. Her clients benefit from a hands-on approach enabled by broad and deep acumen in analytics, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, employee engagement and plan administration.

Kristine’s certification as a Health Rosetta advisor empowers her to create unique health plan solutions that the majority of national brokers do not. Health Rosetta is a small, invitation only advisory saving U.S. employers 20-40% on their health plan spend and reducing employee out-of-pocket expenses. She is also SHRM-SCP certified, providing benefits guidance with broader HR comprehension.

Solving complex challenges is Kristine’s specialty. She has a proven track record of results - executing intelligent ideas for her clients and negotiating high value contracts. Employers with 50 – 500,000 employees and retirees have benefited from her expertise. Ms. Scheer has broad experience with both private and public employers: manufacturing to municipal, educational to retail, health care to laborunions.

In recent years, eliminating inequality and inequity in U.S. health care delivery and benefit plans has become a particular passion. She is co-launching a national women’s health improvement initiative with a group of women who have experienced detrimental health effects from chaotic care navigation, misaligned disability and return-to-work programs, inequal access, or biased care management.

Kristine has strong financial experience in the benefits industry. She began her career as a group insurance underwriter before migrating into consulting and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. As a member of SHRM and the National Association of Health Underwriters, and an avid reader, she believes in continuous learning and loves to educate others.

She has three grown daughters, loves to play tennis and travel, and volunteers her time transitioning single parent families and veterans from houseless and abuse shelters into permanent homes.
