Erika began her career in 2010 on the carrier side. By 2013, she transitioned to the agency side of the industry to make a greater impact for employers. Erika’s uncompromising approach to challenging the status quo in the complex world of employee benefits helps her create ways to maximize the employer’s dollars while improving employee experience. Erika graduated from Texas A&M University- Commerce in 2008 and 2010 earning both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Health and Wellness. She was a contributed author for the industry book titled Whole Lotta $$$ in the MOFO – bringing together subject matter experts in the healthcare industry to provide actionable insights for business leaders, which was launched May 2023.

She was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Erika and her daughter live in Pearland, Texas, with their labradoodle, Watson.
