Jessica Brooks-Woods is the CEO of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP), the preeminent organization for health insurance and employee benefits professionals. Jessica has more than two decades of business and healthcare experience, including CEO of the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health, where she led the effort to redefine and advance the discussion around healthcare value, access, equity and quality on behalf of employers. Known as the "Velvet Hammer in Healthcare," Jessica's commitment to transforming healthcare led to the founding of Rise Health Equity, a service dedicated to improving patient experience and championing equity. She also co-founded and launched EARN Staffing Solutions as a crucial resource for the business community to advance the economic empowerment of inclusion in the American workforce and community.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University's Smeal College of Business and Carnegie Mellon University, Jessica's insights have graced stages at national conferences on a variety of healthcare topics.

Jessica is a recipient of the 2019 Pittsburgh Women of Influence Award and led the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health for its recognition as a Healthcare Purchasing Collaborative Award winner by the Validation Institute. She served on many boards including the board of governors for the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions the Patient Health Action Network, and as an appointee to the Pennsylvania Health Insurance Exchange. Jessica has been published in many major news outlets and recognized by the Pittsburgh Business Times as a Fast Tracker and named to the Smart 50 class by Smart Business Magazine.
